My hotel stay was sponsored but the thoughts and opinions are all mine.
Going to Disney World is such an exciting feeling but finding the perfect accommodations can be just as exciting. As a family of five we take up a lot of room so we knew whatever resort we decided to stay for the week needed to be big and spacious. We were invited to check out Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. The apartment style accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the resort is ideal for those looking to visit the parks. It takes about 15 minutes by car to get to Disney World and SeaWorld and about 25 minutes to Universal Studios.
Our room at the resort had everything a big family could want from a full kitchen with updated appliances to a washer and dryer. We were in a two bedroom, two bathroom hotel room with a big spacious balcony that had a pool view.
Bedroom at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
Traveling with two toddlers and a baby and being in the same bedroom can be tough. Since my toddlers are usually in bed hours before my husband and I go to sleep, being able to put my children in their own bedroom for bedtime was a big plus.
The master suite had everything we could dream of. We had a king size bed, a jacuzzi style bathtub and a rainforest type shower. We had a lot fun in our jetted bathtub after we would come in from an evening of swimming. It seems like our kids loved our bedroom more than their room.
Pirates Plunge Pool at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
Our favorite part of our entire stay was lounging around the pool area with the big pirate ship. My children loved the beach style pool because they were able to go very far in shallow waters. My husband and I enjoyed the drinks we ordered at the pool bar while relaxing poolside.
Stay Reflections Spa & Salon
Although the pool was nice nothing topped my 50 minute full body massage at the Stay Reflection Spa and Salon the spa is conveniently located on the sixth floor of the resort’s lobby building. My day there was nothing short of glorious, after my massage I had a cool glass of fresh orange juice and champagne waiting for me. I enjoyed my yummy Mimosa in their peaceful common area while admiring the in-house aquarium.
There’s also something for your little ones at the spa. Your children can enjoy a hair and makeup makeover catered to them. It’s a great option for the budget conscious family looking give the princess and/or pirate in their life a fun makeover without breaking the bank. Bring your costume and they’ll take care of the rest.
